	Greetings, My name is Bill Schmitz, and Debra is my wife of 25+ years. BDJ was originally named using the initials of Debra, our son, Jon, and myself. BDJ Ltd. has now been in existence for 19 years, supplying local sportsfolk with their firearms related needs. We are, and have been, Gun Owners, NRA members and Firearms Instructors for over 25 years. Both Debra and I are both currently employed by the State of WI , in the Dept of Corrections, with a combined total of over 39 years in Law Enforcement. We bring years of experience in regards to Firearms, Marksmanship, and Training. Our more recent addition of CCW Training began with the introduction of the Wisconsin Personal Protection Act. And, while the WPPA failed the Veto Override, the movement is alive and well in the hearts and minds of the responsible gun owners of Wisconsin . It is our sincere hope that, in the near future, Wisconsin will join the 48 other states that have legal Concealed Carry. As Instructors we will be in the forefront of the Movement Politically. And, we will be in the forefront Educating Gun Owners as to their rights and responsibilities related to Concealed Carry and Personal Protection. BDJ has been affiliated with AACFI, an organization of instructors based in Minnesota for 4 years. This organization, which originated in Minnesota , has developed Concealed Carry Classes for Minnesota, which are now accepted in Utah , and Florida as well. Unfortunately, there is no way to state that this, or any other class, will qualify for the Wisconsin CCW Permits if/when it is passed into law. This is because the standards have not been set at this time. Nor will they be set until such a bill is passed into law. Anyone who states otherwise has a basic misunderstanding of the legislative process. We at BDJ, however, and and do promise this to our Alumni: AACFI has, and will, work closely with WI DOJ to set standards. AACFI has, and will, work to become certified in WI as soon as possible after such a bill is passed. We at BDJ will update our Almni to qualify for a WI permit before we accomodate anyone elses needs or wants. Our alumni have committed to us, we will commit to them; they come first, before any new customers. We have continued CCW Training in Wisconsin , focusing on the Utah, Florida & Minnestoa Concealed Carry Permits. Combined, they are currently valid as a Non-Resident permits in 30 states. Once you have a CCW permit from either state, that permit can be used to obtain a permit from New Hampshire. It is our goal and sincere hope that every student we certify becomes more active and committed to the future passage of the Wisconsin Personal Protection Act.
